What is Scrip?
Scrip is essentially
another form of cash. You purchase scrip
and spend it for the same value as what you paid. The
benefit is that the PTA gets a percentage of
the sale when you use your scrip.
What does PTA do with the funds it makes from scrip?
Every year
PTA gives $300.00 per class for field trips, $100.00 per class to
the teacher for supplies, pays
expenses associated with the "Author's visit",
and meets many other needs such as the Walkathon
and books for the IMC.
